Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Thank goodness for this insurance and that I had the good sense to get it when Pittsburgh was a puppy! His knee surgery cost over $3200.00 and Embrace covered 80%. (He will be facing surgery on his other knee after the rehab from this one. Being on a fixed income, we probably could not have afforded such a huge bill, and he would have suffered because of it. The peace of mind this insurance gives us is immeasurable. Thank you.

I adopted Maggie,Chihuahua-Terrier mix, from a shelter when she was 8 months old. She has been a family member for over 10 years. I took Maggie to see the veterinarian due to allergies in July 2016. The vet found a small mass located on her chest. I had the mass cells analyzed and it was determined to be not to be cancer. The vet instructed me to watch for growth or a sign of pain. I noticed the mass had grown February 2017 and contacted our vet. She measured the mass and due to its rapid growth and location recommend it removed. I submitted a pre authorization form to Embrace. I was given the coverage, my deductible and co pay. I requested vacation time and scheduled the surgery in May 2017. I was laid off from work two days before the surgery. Having the pre authorization made my decision to continue with the surgery easy. Once the surgery was complete I uploaded the claim form, invoice and paid receipt on the Embrace website. The Embrace team kept in constant communication with me via the Embrace website and email. Maggie is doing great and I can concentrate on finding a job! Joey had been having trouble defecating for several days. We finally took him and the treatment, though expensive, immediately fixed the problem. I had submitted a claim a couple of years ago, and found the process much simpler this time because of being able to upload documents.

A fabulous insurance company for pets. I have used them with all of my dogs and find them reliable, honest and very fair. I recommend this company to all pet owners.

Embrace pet insurance has been very easy to manage. Excellent customer service whether via email or phone handling all questions and clarifying any issues. Reimbursement process is easy and quick, always receiving my claims in about a week's time.
