Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Miss Daisy is part of my family and life. When a fox-tail got into her paw and Daisy started complaining I lost it. Her paw was swollen, red and hot. Took her in my arms place her in her car seat and drove to the hospital. After hearing she needed a small surgery, medication and especial care I was scared and afraid of the cost. But then I just thought that I was so lucky to have EMBRACE PET INSURANCE. I knew Daisy would be fine because of the fine Doctors and I was going to be ok because she would go home with me and because Embrace had my back and I could focus on Miss Daisy. Sent my receipts together with the forms and a week later I was being reimbursed. I am so happy that we made the decision to get Embrace, we have been with them for more than 5 years. I constantly recommend people to buy insurance, Embrace. Thank you for all the years you have had my back and supported me with my pets.

Tammie is going to be 12 and has gone through Chemo for Mamory Cancer treatments and Embrace has been their for us to help us give her the best care she could get. This insurance is the terrible! The "Chief Underwriter" is not licensed as a veterinary tech. in Florida and yet is handling claims on behalf of either American Southern Home Insurance Company or American Modern Home Ins. with virtually no veterinary training. She belongs to an association but will not tell me the training she received and for all I know, membership only required paying a membership fee. She has disregarded the veterinary surgeon's opinion on whether my dog's left hip injury was related to a prior right hip injury which occurred 2 1/2 ago, and without any background in veterinary medicine or review by a veterinarian has decided to deny the claim. These people are bad news and USAA should be ashamed that they refer their pet insurance to these unskilled and combative insurance adjusters! I'm cancelling all pet insurance for 12 animals with them immediately and going with Trupanion and I would suggest everyone else do the same, before Jenna Mahan the "Chief Underwriter" for Embrace denies your claim without justification.Harriet Lewis-Mooney

The best choice I made is to enroll our pet with Embrace. They have been excellent in handling all our claims, very fast feedback. The staff is very friendly.
