Best monetary decision I ever made; these people understand dogs

A friend referred this insurance company to me when i got my two new puppies. While a bit skeptical at first, I soon was won over by its excellent communication and its program of wellness. I love my dogs and the feeling of being able to provide them with what they need when they need it has made my life far better. Look at this company if you love your pets.

Very happy, and no surprises.

Our Berner was hit by a car (she has a boundary collar and was hit within our own property), and suffered some major elbow/ligament damage. Thankfully no surgery was needed. Embrace came through for us. Really, no issues or surprises. Very straightforward. 80% reimbursement after the initial deductible. Probably easier than most personal healthcare insurance companies.

Embrace's Wellness claims are quick and pain-free

I've had Embrace for my cat for 3 years now, and I'd never had an accident/illness claim until this year. All of the wellness claims have been a breeze, and I was hoping this one would be too - they didn't let me down. I sent them a pre-certification form and the estimate from the vet to see if everything would be covered and what my anticipated reimbursement would be. It took them no longer than 3 days to provide a response. When it came time to submit the claim, my vet filled out the paperwork and sent it to Embrace. Within 2 business days I had an email from Embrace saying they were beginning to process the paperwork. 2-3 days later they let me know that they've reviewed everything and let me know what I can expect to be receiving as a direct deposit. I'm very pleased with their coverage, their claims and reimbursement process, and their customer care as well.

Don't waste money

I took my dog to the emergency vet because she had diarrhea and was lethargic. The vet did blood work that indicated some abnormal levels, so I took her to her regular vet for follow-up. Embrace initially denied my claim as being subject to a pre-existing condition exclusion because my dog had a discrete episode of diarrhea almost a year before. After extensive back and forth with the claims examiner, and a letter from my vet, I appealed the decision and they applied a partial payment to my deductible.

Peace of Mind

I enrolled both of my aging puppies with Embrace when I knew I was changing careers and would make less money than I had before. I didn't want to face a $5,000 surgery bill for one of my babies. Embrace makes it easy to file claims and has handled my claims promptly. The premiums are reasonable and close to my out of pocket expenses for preventative care. I enjoy the peace of mind knowing a major illness or accident will be more affordable.
