Fast and Hassel Free

I have had embrace coverage on my dog from approx. age 3. He is now 8 years old. He has never had any issues in the past and I had never submitted a claim for him. This year he had a lump that ended up being a cancerous mast cell tumor. I submitted a claim, and it took about 4 weeks from the day I submitted it until I got the check in the mail. I received a healthy pet discount on my deductible and they paid the arranged 80% after my deductible was met. I was very happy with the service and was glad that I had insurance to help cover the large diagnostic and surgical bill.

Easy process for filing and quick reimbursements

Most of her bigger issues have been covered and it has definitely been worth it since my dog continues having new health problems. I just wish they covered her stomach issues which she has had since age 2 and skin issues also. Anything related to those issues is not covered since she had some issues with those two things before I purchased insurance. The deductible is very reasonable and covering at 80% is great! This year alone she has been hospitalized for pancreatitis, immune mediated thrombolytic, and had surgery to remove her spleen due to tumors on it. She also sees an eye specialist for her cataracts twice a year. I just wish I had purchased this policy when I first got her! Schnauzers tend to have many health problems!

Excellent insurance, excellent customer service

Embrace provided excellent coverage when we needed it for a serious autoimmune disease and hospitalization. Claims processing was prompt and easy.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
