Great service

Never had pet health insurance before but with the high costs I see folks paying out for their best friends I though I should go for it. I looked at several companies and asked several vets and the most recommended was Embrace. They have replied quickly to questions and kept me up to date on claims. So far so good. Highly recomment at this time..

Amazing service.

I remember signing up with Embrace almost 7 years ago rather cautiously. My vet had warned me that not all pet insurance was worthwhile. I did my research and felt that Embrace offered the best option. So I enrolled, and nothing happened for 7 years, which was fantastic. With insurance it only matters when you need it, and you only know how truly good they are until you need it. Well, let me just say Embrace and their staff have been amazing. My dog Max is a German Shepherd who needed not one, but two TPLO surgeries (we call them bionic knees), on which he had not one, but two infections. Embrace was wonderful. They were quick, friendly, and even checked up on Max to see how he was doing. I now tell everyone I know and even people I don't know - how great they are. I truly can't say enough about how they've improved Max's life - and made mine so much easier. It was such piece of mind to be able to do what was right for Max and know that my insurance would really help with the cost. I can't recommend them enough. If you are on the fence, I hope this review helps you - and your furry friend.

Emrace Rocks!

What I like best is the consistent communication they keep during the process. I have only had one interaction with them so far, and so far, so good. I investigated prior to purchasing, and they were the most highly rated.

Personal touch

While sometimes there is a lag in completing claims (this is rare) I am always kept updated on the processing of the claim. I appreciate knowing that my claims have not fallen into a black hole somewhere and that my claim will be processed. I always feel a personal touch with the claims folks at Embrace.

Great service but a bit misleading

Let it be known that even though the website says no medical history required to enroll. This part is true as they want your money. If you file a claim, you will need all your pets history from the time you got the pet. This is to protect the, from paying out claims for preexisting conditions, completely understandable. But I feel they should require this up front to avoid delays in processing and also denied claims. It took close to a month to complete claim because I had to go to several different vets and beg them to fax info to embrace. Vets are not fond of sharing their vet notes, note, i said vet notes, not just the receipts you get as a client. My claim was approved and I did receive my due amount in a timely manner after I got all the info faxed to them. Had I not been able to send them the vet info, my claim would not have approved and I would have been out the annual premium I paid for coverage. So be aware you need to request a medical review upfront otherwise you may be wasting your money if your pet has perexisting conditions. Overall I give them a 9. Would have been a 10 except for the pain of driving to old vets and getting info. Should of been told upfront.
