Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Embrace has been totally amazing with approving and reimbursing my claims for my Shadow. He's had a pretty rough year between a diagnosis of chronic bronchitis and then removal of a lipoma, Embrace approved every single claim without hesitation. Shadow is on Flovent for his bronchitis which is quite expensive. Without pet insurance I would have had to make some really tough decisions, especially during the June 2017 through October 2017 timeframe when I was unemployed. Knowing Embrace would reimburse 80% of his medication as well as the lipoma removal, I didn't have to make those tough choices. I couldn't think of ever changing from Embrace. And we just added our new little girl to the policy!

You guys are awesome. Have never been happier with an insurance company.

My mini schnauzer, Stella, has been insured with Embrace since 2009 after tipping over a trash can and eating chunks of fat that had been trimmed from a pot roast. This triggered a pancreatitis episode. I realized how important pet insurance is when I saw the pet emergency hospital bill. I had to apply for Care Credit to pay for her treatment and wondered what I would do in future emergency situations. While researching different pet insurers, I came across the Embrace website and was impressed by the positive reviews. I was also very impressed with how straightforward Embrace is with what's covered and the fact they reimburse claims based on the actual invoice. I took a chance, obtained the quote, and enrolled in the coverage. It's been 8 years, and I am so happy with Embrace! The ease of claim processing, timely reimbursements, and excellent customer service have far surpassed my expectations of what an insurance company would provide. This is why I tell anyone who will listen how great Embrace is, and I’ll be an Embracer for life!

Impossible to imagine dealing with a worse company. Giardia and 3 rounds of meds. Embrace demands records 3 times from vet. After finally covering vet visit and medication, then denies coverage for fecal test to confirm cure as “wellness”? Yeah. We just like trundling back and forth to vet with poops for kicks to randomly test dogs after illness. More back and forth via email and calls. Erroneous answers, lectures on policy terms from claims people. Further vet records. Finally, admission that claims examiner made a mistake and needs training. All over about $100.

Embrace has always been awesome and my experience with them has been great. Always get my claim done quickly. They are great!!!
