Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I STRONGLY recommend Embrace Pet Insurance for ANYONE that has a fur baby! The monthly cost of the insurance is minimal compared to the thought of not having insurance in the event of an emergency! I had embrace for a couple of years and then finally had my first claim. It took weeks to hear back and finally when I did they need more information even though I completed all the required forms. They wanted my pets full medical history. Wouldn’t that make more sense to require that in the beginning and just have it on file. Then I had to contact my vet and try to get the history and try to get them to fax it over, in a timely manner. One that was done it took another week for the claim to be paid. It was inefficient and slow.

We have had a wonderful experience with Pet Embrace. They have always been very responsive when we have questions. Submitting a claim is very easy and they have a quick turn around. We have been very pleased with them.

Pancho Villa, a male Pomeranian mix, has been my canine companion since he was 3 months old. NOt looking forward to any unforeseen vet bills, I opted to invest in insurance for him. When he was six, the day before we were to move from California to Washington state, Pancho was diagnosed with Cushing's disease. When we got settled in our new home, we found a vet and explained Pancho's fragile condition. He was put on a regimen of expensive pharmaceuticals, and constant monitoring and testing. Embrace Pet Insuranace came through like champions. They have been picking up the tab on Pancho's medications and pay 90% of his doctor bills. They get me a check less than ten days after I send them a receipt, without question or complaint. I dare say, either I would be financially strapped or Pancho would not have lived to his present age if Embrace had not come through for us. From my view, Embrace Pet Insurance is a life saver.

I submitted two claims to Embrace by mail at one time. I received notification within a few days by email that my claims had been received and were being processed. Notification that they had been reviewed and approved came by email a couple of days later. Embrace promptly deposited the settlement amount with which I agree (80% after $500 deductible) from both claims into my personal checking account. Appreciate being informed and kept up to date by email throughout the claim process. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they settled and paid my claims.
