Grateful

I contemplated for years about getting pet insurance for my very healthy dog. I NEVER expected that I would have to put it to use 6 weeks after I purchased it, but my dog got very ill on Christmas Eve! Embrace made the claim filing easy and I am awaiting my check in the mail. They were very helpful and the process was easy, but I do feel bad that I did have to use it. At least my dog is totally fine today!

Very happy with Embrace!

I have always had a very good experience with Embrace. I especially like that they email me when a claim is received. They are always prompt in their reviews and reimbursements? Customer service has always been attentive to questions.

Efficient and kind treatment at a time of real stress

My dog was recently and quite suddenly diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The diagnostic charges alone were about $1,700. My claim was processed within a week and I only had to pay $270 of the total charge. One of the Embrace staff also immediately answered my inquiry about coverage for in-home hospice care. We have been Embrace members for over 7 years and have always had a great, caring experience.

Always great, encouraging service at Embrace!

Time after time I am so glad I selected Embrace as my pet insurance for my beloved Maltese. She has gone through a lot lately and Embrace has been there to guide and encourage me through a difficult emotional and financial time.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
