Eosinophilic Keratitis

Ya, that's a fun title! NOT! Needless to say, this is an eye issue that my boy Bill will have for life. Frequent rechecks and daily eye drops. Thank goodness for Embrace. When you need to see more then just your vet, but a specialist, the bills do add up. Embrace is very quick to process all my claims, and keeping me informed by email as they are being processed is very reassuring. All three of my rescue cats are insured. Worth every penny!

Even handed, compassionate, dependable Embrace.

Embrace, you have been an oasis in the desert to us. We came into pet insurance with four dogs and a cat, armed with the opinion that insurance companies were necessary evils and cold-hearted money grubbing rip-offs. You welcomed us with warmth and a genuine interest in our fur family. In the last 2 years as four of our beloveds have died, you have wept with us, sent us lovely personal cards of support and hope, and truly made us feel like family. And the bottom line is that you recognize animal illness expenses and do not avoid reimbursement, a kindness keenly felt upon the loss of pets. We know some of you by name and consider you friends. Your own pet stories have delighted us even as we shared our own with you. Jay has succumbed to Parkinsons Disease and is now almost totally incapable of functioning; but I know that he wants me to tell you how much our relationship with you has helped and encouraged us. We would recommend you strongly. Please don't let anyone change you. Thanks for offering me a chance to talk about you.

Great experience

Terrific coverage. Our wonderful dog, Max, eats everything. Especially, things he should not. Took a very sick Max to the vet. Many dollars later, he is better. Embrace came through and covered just about the entire bill. The process was very fast. Overall, a great experience.

I am so glad I got health insurance for my dog! You have been so helpful and easy to work with, saving me hundreds of dollars.

Embrace pet insurance has been very responsive and helpful in emergencies and other chronic health issues my dog has just started suffering from.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
