Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Then two and a half weeks ago, my ten month old puppy broke her tibia in a freak accident while playing in the yard. Make sure you get that orthopedic report card filled out! The claim process was smooth and each time I have called with questions they were quite helpful. I'll add that I have had high deductible policies on my dogs for 3.5 years now and this past year was the first time I used it (yay for dogs who are normally quite healthy!). Within about 6 months, two different dogs needed two different orthopedic surgeries. Thankfully the claim process with both has been very straightforward with no surprises. Planning ahead and purchasing insurance definitely alleviated some of the stress from the whole situation. Because of my experiences, I have confidently recommended Embrace to other pet owners!

Embrace has been a great choice for our 3-year old pit mix. We enrolled last year upon relocating to NJ. All we needed to do was provide past medical records for full coverage. We were able to get a waiver for what was flagged as a pre-existing condition, after getting a note from our previous vet to explain that the prescription provided was only a precaution for any anxiety our dog might experience during the long flight from San Francisco to New Jersey. The claims process so far has been very easy, I can email copies of vet bills and get immediate confirmation that the claim has been received. Reimbursement has also been provided in a timely manner after meeting our deductible. I would definitely recommend Embrace to other pet owners.
