Embrace makes taking the best care of my pup possible!

We have had Embrace for years and have always been very happy with it. They offer quick reimbursement for claims and friendly customer service. Forms are simple and easy to fill out for all involved. Best of all they give peace of mind that when/if your pet needs medical care you have the coverage to do so. That’s priceless.

They've kept me satisfied and taken care of with our coverage in every aspect

We are in the 3rd year of coverage for our dog and have recently added our cat to the policy. I have been very satisfied with the coverage and if ever there were any questions or issues to be dealt with I have encountered only friendly, courteous and prompt assistance. Thank You Embrace!

Excellent customer service

I investigated several pet insurance companies before deciding on Embrace based upon their coverage and reasonable rates. However, the customer service really deserves special notice. My e-mail queries have all been answered (thoroughly) within a few hours, claims are quickly resolved once the paperwork as been received on their end, and phone conversations are professional, polite and caring. I was skeptical about per insurance as I'd heard mixed reviews (and some horror stories), bit my skepticism has been changed into that of a happy customer. Truthfully, it's comforting to have coverage with this company when one's pet is ill and/or recuperating. Thank you, Embrace!

Unethical Claims Processing

Be very careful at what they consider "pre-existing" because they actually list symptoms that could be caused by a multitude of reasons. They will do whatever they can NOT to cover a claim, even go as far as to manipulate the information to suit their needs. Then they don't follow their own precedence, in spite of doctor's notes that prove that a "condition" did not exist prior to the insurance effective date. Very unethical organization.

I believe we have Rudy covered in great insurance.

We just insured our 5 year old Bichon Frise Rudy Embrace covered his orthopedic exam. I do hope this insurance works for us. We had Rudy insured with an other pet insurance co. the premium doubled after 5 years. From my research and comparison I believe we are with the right co. We added the wellness plan I am sure we will find helpful in keeping our boy healthy.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
