So glad I chose Embrace!

I live in a city and state with high veterinary costs, and have two older dogs. Having Embrace has been hugely helpful in containing the costs of our vet bills. My claims are covered promptly, and their customer service reps have worked with me to find ways to reduce my monthly payments by changing deductibles, automatic payments, etc. I'm really happy with Embrace.

Wonderful, Quick Service

Wonderful, quick service. Their website is easy to use and their staff is excellent. Their waiting time to answer the phone when you call has always been right away. Also, their finalization of any payment is very timely.

Embrace Rescues My Rescue When Possible Cancer is Diagnosed

Embrace has been a lifesaver when my 2-year old rescue suddenly came up lame with what might have been cancer. Turned out to be a bone cyst, but the diagnostics and surgery were costly. Embrace quickly precertified everything and has processed and paid promptly.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
