Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I came home almost two weeks ago to find our 14 month Goldendoodle in a state of extreme distress: vomiting blood, foaming at the mouth, and lethargic. Immediately, I called the vet who recommended he go straight to the emergency clinic (as it was after hours). The emergency veterinary hospital found that Caramel had eaten a sock and it was stuck in his small intestine. I had to put 75% of the estimated cost of surgery/treatment down--which believe me, was a LOT. I am so grateful that I have Embrace and did not have to worry about putting that large amount of money down at one time. Today, I received notification that my claim was covered and will receive my reimbursement within 10 days. My two dogs are both insured through Embrace, and I think that after this I will up their coverage for next year! I was afraid that it would be difficult to get a claim covered, or that I would get the run around after submitting it, but we experienced no problems at all. :)

At just one year old, my Laborador Retiever pup, Phoebe, severely injured her knee which required major orthopedic surgery. Days after her surgery, she was bit or stung and had a potentially life-threatening allergic reaction which required emergency veterinary care. I simply submitted the claims and invoices and, done! Customer service is top notch, professional, courteous, and prompt (by phone and e-mail; I’ve had positive experiences with both). If you don’t have insurance for your pet, get Embrace now! I would highly recommend Embrace to anyone with a pet. The peace of mind of knowing you can make the best decisions regarding your pet’s health, without worrying about unforeseen and astronomical costs, is priceless! This is the first pet I've ever had insurance for, and I'm glad I do. Our dog is part of our family and we want the best for him. Having this insurance has helped pay for his regular shots, prescription food, flea medications, much needed teeth cleaning, and other costs. If we didn't have the insurance it would have been a financial burden and we might have had to make some difficult choices about our dogs future. As he is getting older and is now requiring more consistent medications and veterinary visits, we are again so happy we chose to have insurance. Embrace is amazing with their very quick reimbursement. If I ever have questions or concerns regarding our claims or policy coverage, I can call or email and get a rapid response from a real live person. I've had Embrace for the past 3 or 4 years and never used it until now. I have a 13 year old dog that is now having medical issues and Embrace customer service has shown professionalism and compassion every time I've contacted them. Also my wait time to speak to someone is usually very short so I'm not wasting too much time on hold. They process the claims quickly and I'm very appreciative. I've had other pet insurance in the past that I wasn't happy with and Embrace has proven to be a company I can depend on for fast resolution

They are great with taking care of claims in a timely fashion and keep you up to date on the status without you having to call them to ask which I think is great! We appreciate your service :)
