Peace of mind during a crisis
I came home almost two weeks ago to find our 14 month Goldendoodle in a state of extreme distress: vomiting blood, foaming at the mouth, and lethargic. Immediately, I called the vet who recommended he go straight to the emergency clinic (as it was after hours). The emergency veterinary hospital found that Caramel had eaten a sock and it was stuck in his small intestine. I had to put 75% of the estimated cost of surgery/treatment down--which believe me, was a LOT. I am so grateful that I have Embrace and did not have to worry about putting that large amount of money down at one time. Today, I received notification that my claim was covered and will receive my reimbursement within 10 days. My two dogs are both insured through Embrace, and I think that after this I will up their coverage for next year! I was afraid that it would be difficult to get a claim covered, or that I would get the run around after submitting it, but we experienced no problems at all. :)
