Having Embrace pretty much saved our dog’s life and kept us from stressing about getting him treatment!

When our 7-year-old Boxer went from happy zoomies to lethargy and pale gums in a matter of hours, we rushed him to our nearest emergency vet. We didn’t know what to expect, and when we were told he had an internal bleed that would kill him in a matter of hours, we were devastated. Making it even worse, they suspected hemangiosarcoma. Still, there was a 33% chance it wasn’t cancer, and the only way to save his life and find out was a very pricey splenectomy. Thanks to our coverage from Embrace, we didn’t even have to think twice about giving the green light to the surgery. Our boy made it through with flying colors, but the hemangiosarcoma diagnosis was sadly confirmed. However, again, because of Embrace, we were able to get him the traditional chemotherapy AND integrative oncology treatment that he needed. It had been three months already, and our boy is simply a miracle. (AND we had our reimbursement from Embrace before our credit card statement with the surgery on it even posted!) We couldn’t have done any of this without Embrace.

Reimbursed cancer treatment claims promptly.

My 11 year old Golden was recently diagnosed with malignant melanoma. Embrace has covered the sizable vet bills related to his treatment and has processed and paid the related claims within a week. Am completely satisfied with their insurance coverage and customer service.

Quick to respond to questions and payments if required.

No complaints. My Lab had a bad first year and required surgery and 2 trips to an emergency clinic. Embrace was a very good insurance company to "have my back".

Simple/fast/helpful

I really like Embrace. The claim submission process is simple and quick. The company always gets back to you quickly if you have any questions and explain the decision of the claim thoroughly. If they need more information about a claim, they make a point to reach out to the vet for more information rather than just deny the claim. I also really like the fact how personal it is and how I don't just feel like I am talking to a robot. I love the option of the wellness rewards because it makes paying for necessary things a lot easier and less harsh on the wallet. I wish it was a little cheaper but I still make it work. If only health insurance for humans was this simple!

Claim Handling

I love the customer service but I hate how within the last three claims I have had to contact customer service to do their job and look into their receiving documents better. Last two claims I was told documentation was missing when it wasn’t. I only found out by logging into the website to check on the claim and never received an email.
