Great service, honest and fair

Embrace has worked well for us and our aging dog. He has needed extra care this year for lameness that developed in his hind legs, and insurance was a good investment for us. Embrace staff have been responsive to questions. The website and claims submissions process is user friendly. Things that should be covered have been covered. They are clear in communicating and we know what to expect. This was not the case with a past company we had.

I'm sorry I didn't trust you Embrace

Been an Embracer for 3 years but just had my first claims. Unfortunately, they were big ones for diagnostics, surgery, and treatment for pancreatic cancer. An emotional time, and when I filled my first batch of claims and the status erroneously showed "waiting for information for preexisitng conditions" I suspected efforts to deny the claims. But the error was fixed immediately and my claims paid promptly. Thank you Embrace, and I'm sorry I was so quick to suspect you wouldn't do the right thing when you did.

Service and response always exceeds expectations.

I have been with Embrace for a little over two years and have two large breed dogs insured. This has been my first experience with pet insurance and I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Embrace. Communication is easy through email and response to claims has always been quick, thorough and easy to understand. Every time I have had to call a representative, I have been treated with courtesy and professionalism. They have shown empathy for my situation and have always been quick to answer questions or resolve situations. I will be a user of Embrace Pet Insurance for life!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
