Best Pet Insurance

I did a tremendous amount of research on pet insurance before deciding on Embrace. I have not been disappointed with my choice. I didn't have insurance with my previous dogs and it cost me a small fortune when cancer and spinal problems struck. I learned my lesson with my current dog. Embrace has covered everything from nasal surgery (I have a brachycephalic breed) to dermatological conditions to emergency vet visits. They are very upfront about what they will and will not cover. As long as that is understood, there isn't an issue with getting a claim approved. And starting a claim is extremely easy, which I also appreciate. I have told many people about Embrace and will continue to do so.

The pet owner experience with Embrace met all my expectations!

My veterinarian recommended Embrace when I adopted my puppy. In the first year, i've submitted 3-claims. Claims were paid out, as outlined in my coverage, without contest or delay. My experience with their customer service staff has been exceptional!

Outstanding response and service every time.

I am very impressed with the timely responses I have received Whenever I have submitted a claim or request for a preauthorization for a procedure for my 15 year old cat. The best thing I did was to choose Embrace Pet Insurance to cover her medical needs. I highly recommend them.

Best experiences ever

I have two Havanese dogs and both have had torn ACL surgery - one dog, both knees and the other one knee. Embrace never questioned any of my claims and paid them almost immediately. These are the best people to work with and as I told the Embrace Team after the third ACL claim, I will never complain about paying my yearly policy premium because they have gone above and beyond to take care of my boys.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
