I highly recommend Embrace pet…

I highly recommend Embrace pet insurance. We have had to file several claims for our dog. They were prompt in paying our claims. We are able to submit our claims online and have our payments automatically deposited into our bank account.

I bought this policy for my 4 dogs

I bought this policy for my 4 dogs. Two of them have heart murmurs. Howie needed a heart ultrasound that diagnosed congestive heart failure. They declined to pay for it as a preexisting condition. Clearly they are two different diagnoses. I told them this. No reversal. Also they rejected my other claims for reasons that aren’t clear. What’s the point of having insurance if they find any way to decline your claims. I cancelled my policy I definitely do NOT recommend this company. I had better coverage with aspca policy.

For your "best friend"!

Absolutely the best and easiest organization to do business with. Very courteous while explaining health conditions about your best friend! The easiest most convenient way to submit claims and the response time is minimal. Awesome!

Has been wonderful in caring for all of my dogs over the last 10 years

We've had Embrace for over 10 years for all of our dogs - as soon as we could. They have been instrumental in allowing us to cover some really expensive procedures that each of the dogs needed to return to health. I advised my daughter to get Embrace when she adopted her puppy - and shortly after her coverage began, her puppy swallowed a sock and needed emergency surgery - Embrace was a life-saver for her as well as for us over the years.

My experience with Embrace has been great

My experience with Embrace has been wonderful. I switched from another carrier because Embrace offered more options at a good price. The staff has been very helpful and knowledgeable. I have had a couple of strange situations and the staff at Embrace was able to guide me through.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
