Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Embrace Insurance enabled us to keep our dog, Tia, healthy and comfortable through her many health issues. We were able to enjoy her life longer than we'd expected. Our claims with Embrace were answered promptly and we received timely payment. We continue to recommend the company to our friends and family.

On February 3, 2020 my five-month old Norfolk puppy suffered a grievous injury to a hind paw. I was convinced she would lose the paw and thus the leg. Luckily we live 5 minutes from a veterinary trauma hospital whose Board certified surgeon was on duty that day. She was willing to try I to save the paw but advised me that this would be a long road, full of ups and downs. It would be day to day for a long time. Long story short: it took four operations and three months (plus $10,000) and Embrace to save the paw. The surgeon asked me if I had pet insurance since it would be a very expensive process. I said that I had Embrace Pet Insurance and a big smile crossed her face. The puppy, Cardigan, is now running around and going to physical therapy twice a week. They say she will be “good as new.” This would not have happened had it not been for Embrace. I have since recommended Embrace to a new pet owner who did take out a policy.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Anyone I have spoken with there has been very nice, knowledgeable, and helptul. Filing a claim online is easy, and they pay the claims very promptly.

Embrace made an extremely stressful situation much less so. They were so helpful when our dog's opthomologist's office was dragging their feet about getting our claim forms back to us. The app is so simple to use, and our claim was processed extremely quickly. I highly recommend!

Our Frenchie was diagnosed with GME just after her 2nd birthday, and has been on a regime of chemo and steroids for 6 months. She's responded well to treatment and is active, alert and happy. Embrace never flinched through any of the costs for diagnosis and treatment. This is our 3rd dog with Embrace insurance, but the first with serious health challenges. I've looked at other pet insurance providers but their coverages for serious illness often have individual limits which are much less than the policy maximum, and they don't provide the comprehensive coverage when you need it most. Embrace's customer service is outstanding. I have been a policyholder for almost 15 years.
