I am extremely satisfied with Embrace…
I am extremely satisfied with Embrace Pet Insurance. I believe their monthly insurance fees are reasonable for the coverage I receive for my 2 cats. Most recently, my youngest cat (1 year) had a few issues in recent weeks. He had an abcess which caused lethargy and a high fever, so we took him to an emergency vet hospital.
The invoice was pretty expensive, but we have the highest coverage with a reasonable deductible for our pet. Embrace reimbursed us accordingly as stated per plan. Not too many issues with getting this processed, except they didn't have pre-cert form for him on file. Once I provided this, the pre-cert was complete and the claim was processed/paid.
Shortly after, our cat had another issue where we had to run some tests and had to be hospitalized for a few days. Again, this was pretty expensive and Embrace processed the claims no issue.
Thank you again Embrace Pet Insurance.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. Wouldn’t process a simple claim. I would avoid this company.

Improved Embrace
I love Embrace now that I am using it. Signed up and and used as I should. When you call you receive the most courtesy service, and answer no matter how mixed up the customer is. If you just post your bill they review right away and payment if authorized for reimbursement quickly.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
