Do not enroll.
I received the following email after fifteen business days from my original claim. They are now telling me it will be a MINIMUM OF 30 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE THEY ANSWER MY CLAIM. THEY ARE THE WORST.
Hello Lila,
We have received medical records for Harry and they are in line for review.
Harry's medical records could be reviewed for several reasons, including:
You've requested a medical history review
You've submitted your first accident or illness claim
Harry has a claim pending medical history for a specific date of service
We are updating a temporary pre-existing condition on Harry's policy
Once the medical records are reviewed, pending claims can be processed and medical history reviews can be completed. This process can take up to 30 business days once we've collected all necessary medical records, and it is likely you will not receive any updates during this time.
Please note that if our team finds that we are missing medical history or the records we receive are summary/vaccine records only, this will delay the review and/or claim. Please be sure to let us know which practice(s) Harry has visited in the 12 months before you purchased your policy.
Medical records can be emailed to claims@embracepetinsurance.com, submitted via your MyEmbrace customer account, or faxed to (800) 238-1042. Feel free to contact us if our requested time frame has been exceeded.
