Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I can’t believe how quickly Embrace is with processing claims. If I ever have questions they have always been super nice, professional & efficient. If I miss submitting a document they reach out to the VCA directly to keep the process moving along. I definitely made the right choice with Embrace!

We decided to get pet insurance upon our purchase of a new puppy. Our older dog had passed away, after suffering a lingering illness, and the expense of her care until she passed was daunting. One never knows when or if you will need insurance, but the peace of mind alone is worth it. As fate would have it, my 18 month old dog ended up needing emergency bladder surgery and we were able to utilize our pet insurance for the first time. Our bill was over $2,400 and after our deductible, Embrace paid the entire claim....no questions asked. WHAT A RELIEF! After our pup came home we ran into a few medical issues late on a Friday night and found out that Embrace offers a "Vet on call" service! We were able to request a call back and in less than 10 minutes, we were on the phone discussing our concerns with the Embrace Veterinary doctor. I can't say enough good things for Embrace's service, claim processing, phone app and ease of use. Would most DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance!

Kodiak was diagnosed with an oral melanoma. Embrace has allowed me to have surgery and follow up treatment (vaccination & radiation) without incurring financial hardship.

So thankful I had an insurance policy to cover the needs Duff had due to cancer. I could not of financially managed the enormous vet bills without it.

I received the following email after fifteen business days from my original claim. They are now telling me it will be a MINIMUM OF 30 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE THEY ANSWER MY CLAIM. THEY ARE THE WORST. Harry's medical records could be reviewed for several reasons, including: You've requested a medical history review You've submitted your first accident or illness claim Harry has a claim pending medical history for a specific date of service We are updating a temporary pre-existing condition on Harry's policy Once the medical records are reviewed, pending claims can be processed and medical history reviews can be completed. This process can take up to 30 business days once we've collected all necessary medical records, and it is likely you will not receive any updates during this time. Please note that if our team finds that we are missing medical history or the records we receive are summary/vaccine records only, this will delay the review and/or claim. Please be sure to let us know which practice(s) Harry has visited in the 12 months before you purchased your policy. Medical records can be emailed to claims@embracepetinsurance.com, submitted via your MyEmbrace customer account, or faxed to (800) 238-1042. Feel free to contact us if our requested time frame has been exceeded.
