When our dog had a seziure we took him…fast and easy!

When our dog had a seziure we took him to an ER Vet. We sent in all the paperwork and Embrace took us step by step. They made a stressful time much easier. They are very fast! I don't think I've had an easier time with insurance!

Embrace has been wonderful to us during…

Embrace has been wonderful to us during my pup’s sudden illness. Claims were promptly handled without any issues. The first one took a few weeks, but that is the norm for first time claims. It was paid, and the following claims were paid within a few days of submission. Sadly I lost Ringo due to cancer. I am considering placing a policy on another pet with this company.

The worst insurance ever….5 years ago…

The worst insurance ever….5 years ago my daughter was playing with our dog on a trampoline and he fell and injured his back leg. He had an emergency X-ray and treatment which they refused to pay stating that he has a chronic condition. In my medical education a fall is an accident which is defined as ACUTE and no chronic. Plus, it takes forever to get reimbursed even for flea & tick, heart worm medication. I use Natonwide for my other dog and 48 hours for a claim to be processed and check sent

Long term customer.

I have had my cats insured with Embrace for about 10 years. At one time, I had as many as five insured; now, only three are remaining. Embrace has been excellent. The representatives are very knowledgeable and friendly; also, my claims are always processed quickly. I've been very satisfied with Embrace and highly recommend.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
