Couldn't be happier

Embrace has been absolutely wonderful. We have 4 pets (2 cats/2 dogs). Embrace has covered everything from pets UTI's to surgeries. Claims submission is easy and processed quickly. We highly recommend them!!!

Denies All Claims For All the Excuses

Everything looks good on paper and all the pretty ads and probably fake reviews and support that they get. I bought the most expensive insurance plan they had. Embrace Pet Insurance has denied 6 out of 7 of my claims to date. They claim "pre-existing" conditions for everything and find ways to link things together to make them all related. Obviously a pets body parts are all connected. Even after my Vet wrote to them a full statement saying that my pet did not have this pre-existing condition, they still denied my claims. This is the usual fraudulent insurance practice to deny as many claims as possible and keep collecting premiums. I recommend you take your business elsewhere unless you want to try to fight claims all the time. Their Director of Underwriting and Claims carries a bachelors in biology and was a claim adjuster for a year before taking on the role per her LinkedIn. Thats your professional claims leader. I can no longer claim my dogs issues now that he really has a pre-existing condition. Good luck if you want to try them and take this risk.

Embraces is the best pet insurance available.

My vet said that Embrace was probably the best pet insurance he has ever seen, and after being with Embrace for over two years now, I couldn't agree more. I take my dog to the vet for his annual checkup and then submit my receipt to Embrace for the Wellness plan and within 5-7 days, the money was in my bank account. This is the norm with these folks, as they truly get it right. I have both the Wellness plan and the regular insurance for accidents and illness, and again, they are simply wonderful. I would highly recommend this insurance, and it's reasonably priced!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
