Embrace the Coverage

Embrace is an awesome company -- not only is coverage better than other pet insurance companies, but the employees honestly care about helping the customer. Recently, clarification was needed on a submitted invoice and the representative working on the claim reached out to my Vet for clarification -- awesome customer service!

I am forever grateful for Embrace Pet…

I am forever grateful for Embrace Pet Insurance! By far one of the best decisions I've ever made when it comes to my best friends health. My Sadie was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy last April and has needed a lot of care. Embrace has made it possible for me to not only give her the best care possible, it has significantly helped ease the financial stress that comes along with such a difficult diagnosis. Our life has changed tremendously, it's been rough, but She is worth it! Knowing Embrace has our back has been the greatest blessing and has allowed me to focus on Sadie's health and that is priceless! I am a customer for life!

horrible coverage!

Well visit claims are paid fast and easy (but of course this is an additional premium to the policy). I have had to have a fit to get any other claims paid, they sat on them for months and it was not until I posted on social media they got processed. They will try to put EVERYTHING under a pre-existing condition. This is not worth the money at all

I would give them zero stars

I would give them zero stars if I could. Stay far away from this company. They are unscrupulous and will do anything in their power to not pay on claims. They say they will take 1 month to review a pet’s previous health history but it took almost 4 months. They call everything in the world a pre-existing condition. My dog had one ear infection and now they won’t pay for any ear or skin condition for life. I only switched to them because USAA recommended them but I am going to do everything in my power to change that. The sales guy totally lied about everything just to get my money. I am cancelling and trying any other company. Run run far away from them!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
