Great customer service and claim process

I have Embrace for all 4 of my pets. Prior to Embrace, we were with a different company but decided to make the switch after doing more research. My recent claim for a my dog's MRI turnaround time was 4 business days which was totally unexpected. It was such a huge sigh of 1relief because of how costly the procedure was. Overall, I love Embrace because of their customer service and ease of submitting a claim which can be done on the app or website. Claims are processed and reimbursed within few business days. I took a star off because they can make some improvements on their app and website. The app crashes all the time and their website tends to either lag or hang..

Canceled due to high rates

I have never had a problem with embrace pets cause I never had to put in a claim but I just recently canceled my policy cause they keep raising my rates. last year 2022 they raised it and I got it lowered by raising my deducible and now this year they jump my rates up by 40.00 dollars higher per month. Was with them for 7 years never a claim filed and now no longer afford them

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
