No for older dogs
Hello All, I hope this is useful. I feel like this is for young pets that you get started with early and start paying the premiums. Our 10 year border collie is in great health, per our veterinarian, blood of a 2 year old dog. However, we recently has some benign skin tags removed and teeth cleaned. In 2020 he had a benign skin tag removed and was noted in his charts. Also noted was dirty teeth. We sent in a claim to embrace and was denied for removal of two more tumors and the teeth cleaning. Reasons for this denial was due to the reference in his charts for pre existing conditions. We escalated and applied for a second look and were still denied. If you have a young animal, this might be worth it, however, if you animal is older I would stay away from Embrace.
