My dog had eaten a bunch of my chicken…

My dog had eaten a bunch of my chicken eggs causing her to get a case of chronic pancreatitis. Embrace is saying this is a pre existing condition! I don’t understand how this can be pre existing when she has never shown sings of this before or after she was treated. Now they are not paying me any insurance money but have gladly excepted my payment for the policy twice . This has been going on since 2/7/23.

Great in emergencies, swift & easy processing

We got insurance when we got our puppy in 2020, and this year I was starting to wonder if it was worth renewing since we never use it. Until... we had a big scare and needed to bring our dog to the Emergency Vet for an overnight stay and treatment. The claims process was SO simple and they sent a reimbursement check quickly. I'm grateful we had the insurance and I'm VERY happy with the swift claims/reimbursement process.

Canine diabetes and cancer

Embrace has exceptional coverage and customer service. We purchased insurance for our dog when she was just a puppy and luckily she was very healthy for a long time. I even considered canceling so many times because she was so healthy and I thought we were wasting money. I am so thankful we kept it! At 8 years old she was diagnosed with Type I diabetes. The initial testing to confirm the diagnosis and rule out other issues was quite expensive and everything was covered. Additionally, we had the constant costs of insulin, syringes, a blood glucose monitor & testing strips, sharps containers and periodic emergency visits for concerns relating to her diabetes. EVERYTHING was covered and claims were processed quickly and easily. On top of this, a year after her diagnosis she developed a tumor in her mouth which had to be removed. She had to have about an inch and a half of her bottom front jaw removed to get rid of all the tumor. This was about $5500 just for the surgery and again all of it was covered. Even though the surgery went well and she recovered quickly, just 3 months later she stopped eating. We initially thought it was pancreatitis (as a result of her diabetes) and all of the testing, treatment, etc did not help. She spent 3-4 days at the vet's office with them doing everything they could to help her. During an ultrasound, they discovered a mass on her spleen which turned out to be lymphoma. At this point we had to make the decision to let her go peacefully but the cost of the previous weeks trying to help her were quite high. Once again, EVERYTHING was covered. Knowing this throughout all of these ordeals made it so easy for us to do whatever we needed to help her without worry of a sudden and unexpected costs to us. Thank you Embrace for making the process SO easy for us and providing us the peace of mind to help our girl in every way we possibly could.
