I just started to purchase this…

I just started to purchase this coverage for my dog, Huey last week, for a couple of reasons: One being affiliated with USAA where I have a bundled coverage and know that your Pet Insurance will be the perfect coverage for my dog. Second is, for what Stephanie had thoroughly explained, it just made so much sense to purchase the coverage. I just hope my dog will not have a serious illness or accident in the future but if this happens, I know and will ease my mind that it will be covered or maybe part of it will be.

Peace of Mind

Have been with Embrace for 10 years plus. Easy to navigate the site. Claim submittal easy and quick. Processing is reasonable with explanation of why or why not claim maybe not fullfilled. Never have any issues. AND the doggie 'fetching' is cute.

I am currently shopping for pet…

I am currently shopping for pet insurance. I have not decided on any company yet. As I have been reading the reviews I have noticed alot of cookie cutter responses from said insurer to the customers which have found it to b a bad experience paying Embrace for policies. These are hard working Americans who are just trying to love their pets properly and for a company to steal these people's money taking advantage of the love they have for members of the family is despicable. It almost sounds like alot of the "reviews" that are favorable are AI produced. Shame on you!!!! We hope you slide down a pole of razors into a pool of alcohol. We hope it hurts when you poop.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
