Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

The Embrace app makes it so simple to submit claims and documents and the processing of claims is very fast with excellent communication throughout the process. I’m very pleased with this pet insurance company.

I’m thankful that embrace contacted my vet for the notes needed to process the claims. I was fully reimbursed for my sweet boys passing and the visits that led up to his last day. Thank you for having my back.

It has always been great! Turnaround time within a few days. But now I am noticing a much longer time frame on the higher $ claims. I have a monthly prescription of Galliprant for instance. By the time I get reimbursed it is time to order again. It is taking 2 or 3 weeks.

I have been informed that if my dog, Willow, has cancer, her treatment will not be covered. Your reasoning is based on the fact that when the doctor looked at her "lumps", he determined they were only sebaceus cysts and no biopsy was required. I would think your company would defer to a doctor's expertise in determining when a biopsy is not warranted. In fact, one cyst was removed recently and it was just a cyst; no cancer. And Embrace would not pay for it. I will not subject my dogs to unnecessary medical procedures, especially when the doctor knows they are not warranted. I would think that would be your position, as well.

I have a rescue golden retriever. He had been very abused & was very sick when he first arrived . I purchased my Embrace Insurance 3 years ago. I have been lucky, We haven’t needed it . Recently my boy has been sick. I was worried about how this process would go . It went so smooth . I sent a screen shot of my pups statement . I received a check within 2 weeks . No hassle , & straight up front . They also suggested if I have a bank on file , they can send an automatic deposit instead of waiting for a paper check . Thank you Embrace 🩷🐾
