Waited over three months for them to process a claim
When I first got my dog over two years ago I got embrace the exact same day. They said I had a 6 month waiting period and I needed to get a vet visit within two weeks to make sure he was healthy. I did that and I sent it in. Then in NOVEMBER 2023 I submit our first emergency claim. Embrace refused to process it because they needed ALL medical records since I “never visited the vet after getting the policy” I told them I did and I sent in all the paperwork and it even said in the doctors note that this visit was for insurance and then they magically said they found it and they would process my claim. They still didn’t and wouldn’t until I got the records from when he was 8 weeks old and still belonged to the breeder. Almost a month later they finally reimbursed me. Three months to process one claim? That was unbelievable and everyone else I have talked to about other companies said their claims were always processed in a couple of days. I was just very disappointed by their lack of professionalism and how they handle business.
