So glad we have Embrace insurance for…

So glad we have Embrace insurance for our Snoodle. As she has aged, several related medical conditions arose in which Embrace came thru for us in assisting with our vet bills.

I'm grateful to have pet insurance

I'm grateful to have pet insurance The positives are that they recognize holistic care. Acupuncture is allowed. My beloved husky mix Bella developed hermangiosarcoma in 2019. Her spleen ruptured. The ER recommended euthanizating her. Without Embrace I would not have been able to pay for the emergency splenectomy. I would have had to put her down. Bella ended up living three plus years post diagnosis. Embrace's policy allowed for eastern and western medical care which I believe had a lot to do with her longevity. The negatives are that Embrace was more user friendly when I first signed my dogs up. Things have gotten more complicated. My guess is that they are using ai for interfacing. I have two geriatric dogs that take the same meds monthly. For some reason there is a lot of pushback on these claims. The biggest issue I have is that the website is slow. It makes filing claims extremely time consuming. I've complained about this to Embrace. Nothing has been done about it.

Cat Surgery was $6,000

Our baby had a stomach blockage and had to have emergency surgery and had to spend a couple of nights in the hospital. We filed a claim and it hasn't even been a week and we have already been reimbursed all the cost (minus deductible of course). No hassle, no fuss..open a case on the app, submit your paperwork and that's it. Highly Recommend

Lots of money for a little coverage

Got this insurance through USAA when my dog was just a puppy. For this accident and illness policy it started around $30… cool thats fine. As the years went by it started increasing in price, mind you, my dog so far has yet to have an accident or any illness apart from the normal skin allergies that dogs tend to have. Not once have I ever gotten reimbursed for anything. Now my dog is about to be 5 and his policy went up to $64!!!! All they told me was that since my dog hasn’t had any issues my deductible is at a lower price and that my insurance was more expensive because he has gotten older. Okaaay?? Anyways, I switched to another pet insurance got Accident and Illness coverage AND a package that also covers vaccines and dental all for $34!!! Crazy how much cheaper it was and the fact that it consists of way more coverage than just the Accident and Illness. I honestly would not recommend this insurance to anyone. Stay away!!
