Prompt follow up

Overall, the refund process is prompt and satisfactory. Additionally, it wad great to share the status sending email notifications. I definitely recommend Embrace and already did to my friend.

Pointless scam

Pointless scam. Took so much time just for Embrace to tell me that my dog has a pre-existing condition based on the fact he has had Kennel Cough 2 times in 12 months. That's like saying a person can't get 2 different strains of the flu or 2 separate instances of a respiratory infection in a year.

beware

well read the raving reviews here in my case.... way not true after a month of embrace asking for my invoice i sent 4 times AND they went directly to my vet and he supplied the my pets entire history they finally denied my $230 claim for a wellness senior blood paned stating i needed Wellness policy added to my policy-what?? hey why chase me around for data when I was not covered ????well because they stall and deny they only thing they embrace is the premium.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
