so far, not so good
so far, awful. We got Embrafce insurance recently. Sadly, my dog got badly hurt when she got inadvertently stepped on and then squished in a door (long story, no mal-intent, but dementia is a factor with the culprit) Embrace is denying the claim saying it is orthopedic and not covered yet. INSANE! unless they turn around the decision, I will drop and get another.

No one answers the phone
The app is really easy to use, reimbursements are easy to receive. However, no one answers the phone and it took awhile for an email response that wasn’t an automated response. On top of that, even that person said she didn’t know why my claim wasn’t re-opened automatically after receiving the necessary records when it should have.

Embrace has been absolutely wonderful…
Embrace has been absolutely wonderful to work with. So much stress and anxiety was relieved because of your efficient claims process. Additionally, the compassion you exhibited when I had to one of my little ones go was very appreciated. The policy change was just as efficient as your claims process. I always brag about Embrace!

Embrace makes it so easy to submit a claim & very quick to respond.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
