Professional & Sympathetic!

When we got our Boykin Spaniel puppy two years ago, our vet highly recommended pet insurance since this breed is known for eating things they should not. Thankfully, she’s only done that once, but she has had some other unusual things happen that have required our vet’s attention. Afterward, filing a claim with Embrace has been so easy. Their quick response and thorough explanations help to relieve the stress we are feeling at the time. We highly recommend Embrace, for the excellent customer service they provide during the stressful times we all feel when our pets aren’t well!

Fast and Reliable

My Yorkie mix had a terrible stomach issue on a Saturday morning that turned out to be nothing major but still cost over $500. I submitted the bill to Embrace. The process was fast and efficient, and I received the funds directly within about 10 days. Embrace is the best company I've used for my pets' care, and it's a comfort knowing that they are there in case of anything. Thank you!

Had problems getting claim documents

Had problems getting claim documents. Embrace worked with me to get my documents together to get the claim done. Easy to work with claims reps that I dealt with. I guess my claim is done now. But haven't received anything from Embrace.

This is my 3rd or 4th claim submitted. The first one from nearly a month ago has not been settled yet! And trying to contact Embrace takes an hr or more on the phone!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
