Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Allegedly the condition that my cat has is not covered. No one will tell you why, the doctor/vet office that did the incorrect coding, nor the date. I have already spent $20,000 of my own money to cover a condition that was preexisting a few days before the policy went into effect. I understood that and did not make a fuss out of it. Now, my cat has a condition that she has NEVER had and the company will not cover it. This insurance is just stealing your money every month and manipulates you into staying because “who knows what might happen”. Well things are happening and nothing is being covered. None of my friends have had issues with their pet insurance for the same case. This company is a fraud, they only care about your money and not your pet’s life. Avoid it, find a better insurance company that won’t waste your pets life nor money.

This was my first time submitting a claim and it was super easy. Even my dog could do it. :) It really couldn't have been an easier process. With just a few clicks, I was all set. Really well designed process.

Our three year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever had a recent three day emergency hospital stay with several tests/procedures totaling over $7000. Submitting a claim based on invoice only took less than 10 minutes and Embrace handled the rest of process of contacting primary and emergency veterinarian. Our claim was processed and funds deposited directly into checking account in less than a week.

Very tedious process to submit claims vs healthy paws on my other dogs. Even after chosing my pet and then submit claims, you have to go through multiple screens on the hospital (chewy), then to chose my dog again, then to chose her diagnosis etc, then 2 screens to review etc. I had to do this tedious process 7 times for the last 7 months of her monthly meds for cushings disease. Payment of claims is also slow compared to Healthy paws where it's done and in my bank in 2 days.
