Veronica went way Beyond to help me, thank you!

The first female and then male I spoke to this afternoon didn't help me, yet the third woman- I think her name was Veronica helped me immensely and was so helpful and knowledgeable that I don't need anyone to contact me on a few more questions that I had that Veronica with patience, knowledge, and kindness accomplished. I now know more of why my claim didn't yield as much money back having forgotten that the $250.00 deductible was paid and then a little more reimbursement was issued and also that usually urinalysis in the Wellness savings policy isn't covered. I was going to cancel my insurance but realized how silly that would be and very kind Veronica SO helped me while I was on the phone with her - she does deserve a raise! I am staying with the insurance I have and of course is wise to have for my Beautiful cat I SO Love. Thank you again Veronica and Embrace Pet Insurance! Sincerely, Kristi Brockman.

What makes up a health history review.

I am new to this system and I am old enough to remember when registration wasn’t done elect. So getting my dog and the vet offices signed up was very frustrating because for the first month I couldn’t get a call back or talk to someone who knew what they were doing and could help me on line. That was three months ago and now I am trying to get the claims approved. Submitting the claims was extremely easy and efficient. My issue is that I adopted my dog from a shelter that is several hundred miles away. The shelter picked him up off of the streets around Sept 9, 2023 and I adopted him through a local rescue around Sept 25, 2023. On June 29,2024 the waiting policy started and but on July 2nd my dog had an emergency visit at the vet’s office and since then has been seen numerous times at the vet’s office with a lot of tests done. I am sure my bills would add up to several thousand if I summed them up. In order to do their due diligence Embrace wants one year of prior health history but I don’t have that. Embrace keeps sending me emails saying that they can’t process my claims because there is no history from July 2, 2023 until Sept. 25, 2023. Also the Animal Shelter hasn’t responded to any requests that they submit the SOAP reports for the medical treatment during the four weeks that they had him. For the eleven months that I have had this dog (if you omit this current illness) he has only been to the vet’s office for neutering and vaccinations. Because of the missing 4weeks of SOAP they have placed a hold on all but one claim, for which they paid a total of $12.00. I have called Embrace several times and they keep telling me not to worry they have it documented. Yet I keep getting notices that they can’t process the claims because of the missing 4 weeks of health records. Earlier today Embrace sent me an email saying that they can’t process my claims and they will no longer contact the shelter for the records. If the missing health history was in the middle or the end of the one year time period I could understand their concern. But they have 10 months of history since I have owned this dog that documents that he doesn’t have some type of chronic reoccurring illness. They should either cancel my insurance and refund the premiums that I have paid (less the $12) or give us a waiver for the missing 4 weeks.
