Dog poisoned in back yard, happy to have the pet insurance to help our dog recuperate and assist in the veterinary costs.

For an older person, the claims processed has not been easy for me. I thought that I completed the process by App, evidently not. Today, I did have a wonderful Claims Representative, Mindy, who tried every way to help me through the claims process. She was kind, personable and thorough. I was very pleased to have reached her for assistance.

20% increase, on a 3yr old dog!

Even though they HAVE made small payouts, after reaching the deductible, a 20% increase on a 3-year old mutt, is outrageous! Not that they give a hoot, when you call for an explanation. Just a "we don't usually do that, but...." Yeah, okay. And when we did need a reimbursement, we had to ask for it, repeatedly. One time they told me, it was because the vet wasn't responding; then you contact your vet, who forwards you THEIR response, that was returned to. aspca within 24 hours, of their request. So I got in touch with my vet, to ask how much their average prices had increased, over the past three years. It was a bit harder to get a true picture, but "it definitely isn't. 20%." I understand it's a business, but why be so greedy? If I upped my prices, I'm fairly certain my customers would be irate. Just curious if they did these increases across the board, like CS told me, they did? So now we're shopping for new insurance, possibly lifetime, as I thought it'd be with aspca. I dont like the thought of writing negative reviews. I mainly wanna know, if anyone else is dealing with this?
