I’ve been using this insurance for my…

I’ve been using this insurance for my dog for two years and I’ve never had a claim till recently. I took my dog to the vet Oct 08 due to him having seizures and yet my claim still have not process. Mind you they don’t have no problem taking the money out of my account monthly but I have to wait to get my money back as if I’m not already struggling. Moving forward I will be canceling my account tomorrow and looking for a new insurance for my pet.

Read the latest reviews and I have to…

Read the latest reviews and I have to say, I am surprised how people are not happy with ASPCA. Personally I have a very good experience. Yes, the claims are taking longer lately, but it's understandable since pet ownership is on the rise, work force is reduced and claim numbers have been increased. I have had them for about 6 years, and they always processed claims effectively, and barely ever needed additional information from the vet. I always try to make sure that I request detailed bill before I submit the claim, so I minimize the chances of them needing something from the vet. Recently my baby girl (9yr old boxer) has been diagnosed with lymphoma and she has been going to the oncology specialist and has received couple chemo treatments. Bills are huge. Yes, they did take longer than usual (I rec'd an email from them telling me that they are having high volume of claims and they were apologizing for the delay) but they processed them and paid almost full 90% as promised. The only reason I can afford this expensive chemo therapy is due to me counting on them to reimburse me so I can pay the bill. So overall, I wish I had this kind of insurance myself. Way more efficient and affordable than hoomans insurance.

Stay away at all cost. Scumbags is the nicest word to describe them

First lets start with the ease of a claim. They take roughly 3 weeks before they remotely give you any news. Trupanion on the other hand which I use for my other dog is complete in 24-48 hours. 2- They will fight you on EVERYTHING to make sure nothing is covered by them. Then they have fine print for a dogs health issues, after a year it’s considered “pre existing” and no longer covered. 3- ASPCA just rents their name out to a scumbag company. They should be ashamed. I will never donate to ASPCA again, they are just as bad. Please do your research, use Trupanion, they are dog people. ASPCA and this company are nothing but bottom feeder scumbags.

Best Insurance I have had, and had many

I have tried several insurance companies and have had horrible experiences. I love this insurance. Easy to make a claim and unlike most carriers, cover more. I don't have to wait months for my claims and the website could not be easier. 5 days and my claim is in my account. I have led others to aspca insurance and they have been pleased as well.

Worst insurance!

The absolute worst insurance experience of anything I’ve ever had insurance on! Car, home, life, phone, flood!! After 3 months They keep sending me emails every two weeks about needling more info from my vet. My vet sent them 11 pages of records 4 times. I spoke to a rep EVERY WEEK since the surgery (July 27 2020). They say they don’t have them, then another rep says they do then again they re waiting. I’ve called and shown up at my vets office 3 times to make sure they did their part and sure enough they did. I again call ASPCA pet insurance and wait the 40-over an hour wait times to be told the same things. When they “ verify” they have the records then tell me they will put this though for payment into my direct deposit, I get nothing but another email saying they’re waiting for medical records.I call again and the rep says the same repertoire then tells me they need records going back even further than a year since my dog has only been going to this vet less than a year. Not once had this come up in the previous emails. They always say they’re email the vet that did the surgery. I went and got, photographed and sent records all the way back to 2018!! So I cancelled my coverage and everyday for the last 5 days I get a voicemail and an email asking to keep coverage and remit payment. They’re adept at begging for money FROM me everyday just not lifting a finger to PAY me. Also now when I go to the “My Pet Insurance “ app the date if the claim says Jan. 1,2001!!!!!! What a joke of a company! A $1042 surgery claimI’ll NEVER get back! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!
