Impressive

From the relative ease of submitting a claim to the prompt claim review and payment, we couldn't be more impressed.

"Cold calls" just to check in on my dying boy.

The love of my life, my male black lab, Raven (13.5 yrs, blind due to retinal degeneration, "old dog vestibular" imbalance, Stage II Mast Cell tumor removal, and Canine Cognitive Dysfunction/"Doggie Alzheimer's"). All of this except blindness within the past 6 months. With all the stress of moving from KY to NC and changing vets to finally now having one that does hospice and house calls, ASPCA has not only worked with me on claim submission and called when they haven't seen a claim for a while, but they have called twice just to ask how Raven is, how I am, etc. They are genuine - as are the dogs I hear in the background that the employees bring to work with them; love that. It's almost impossible to insure a dog over 10 years. ASPCA insured Raven at the highest level of coverage available at a very reasonable cost. My submissions last week to them (inc. imaging at UT) was over $3,000. The woman on the phone didn't comment on my waiting to submit so many at once except to say that if there was any way ASPCA could help as I deal with the knowledge that my baby is dying, don't hesitate to say so. As a nurse, it was rare that I saw people treated this well - and definitely not from our health insurance or the hospital business office. Raven's 7-yr-old sister Emily (yellow lab with ITP) is also insured with ASPCA. What I have written still doesn't describe the depths of my gratitude for them. I've had other insurances and they have been nightmares. ASPCA is a dream com

Compassionate and honest service

ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has been covering my furry babies for many years, and I have been very satisfied with the customer service, ease of filling out claims and the quick turnaround for reimbursement. Through the years, several of our cats have passed away, and when the company heard about our loss, they were very supportive and compassionate. I highly recommend this insurance to others.

Wonderful experience!

I could not have had a better experience with ASPCA Pet Health Insurance! I am so happy with my experience that I encourage others to try this insurance as well.I have two cats: one covered under ASPCA, another covered under 24PetWatch. My cats ate the leaves from a lily plant, which I didnt know were so highly toxic, they can kill pets within 72 hours. They were hospitalized for 3 days. It was traumatic for them and for me. When I filed my two claims, the check from ASPCA Insurance came back within about 10 days. I had a couple of questions about the coverage, but everything was straightforward and covered according to the ASPCA plan that I had signed up for. (On the other hand, I am still fighting my claim with 24PetWatch. They have told me that this claim falls under "digestive" issues and not "accident", therefore sent me a check for less than one third of what should have been reimbursed. I will write another review about them.) The ASPCA Pet Health Insurance were kind, considerate, and easy to work with. I called them to review the reimbursement and they were very helpful and supportive. They didn't try to skimp me on anything. After I called them the day it happened, just to make sure everything would be covered, they even followed up with a call a day later, and then 3 days later, to see how my cat was doing. After the reimbursement was sent out, they called again to make sure I didnt have any questions. Wow, what kind and considerate service. I am so glad that I si

You'll be so happy you got the pet insurance!

My cat died last December. There were serious expenses in an effort to keep him alive a bit longer and create a comfortable and compassionate passing for both pet and humans. You know you love your pet so much that you'd do or pay anything, practically, to take care of him/her, particularly in the last days, and the pet insurance eases the burden tremendously. (And Carecredit.com allows you take your time in paying for accrued charges. Most vets offer that.) Get the insurance for your peace of mind, as well. I feel sorry for the pets and owners that don't have it.
