The best of the best

I have been doing business with you folks for 15 years, two Giant Schnauzers. You folks are the best of the best. I'am 75 years old, my current Giant will get me into my 80's. When he is gone I might get another just knowing you folks got my back.

Exceptional customer service over 15 years

I'm a returning customer who received exceptional service over a period of 15 years while my beloved Lhasa was insured. I was pleased with the benefit coverage plan then, and in comparison, now even more so considering the total policy premium cost.

Monthly Cost

$5 – $90 depending on coverage options chosen.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 20% after your annual deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Per incident limit of $1,500 – $8,000 and annual limits of $3,000 – $16,000 depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

Choose from $100 – $1,000 annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll with no upper age limit. Coverage options available for senior pets.

Waiting Period

Coverage goes into effect one day after enrollment. There is a 5-day wait period for accident claims and 14-day wait period for illness claims. AKC Pet Insurance provides 30 days of accident and illness insurance coverage included with AKC registration for newly registered puppies.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Customizable plans allow you to add-on coverage for inherited and congenital conditions, exam fees and wellness care. Cancer coverage included in base accident and illness plan.
