HORRIBLE

I pay over $350 a month for full coverage for 4 bulldog puppies, and everything is a struggle. I had a vet recommended cardiologist for one of them that cost $690, and they refuse to pay on any of it. I will be cancelling my policy.

Excellent Service! Friendly, kind and professional

I have been very impressed with the customer service people in the call center for PetPartners. In the past nine or ten years I have insured three pets -- two cats and my dog. Unfortunately, sadly, I have lost two of them and during their illnesses, Pet Partners customer service people have been very kind at difficult times. The people who I have spoken with seem to "not just have jobs," they are true animal lovers who have empathy and work to help you to understand your policy benefits and to do what they can to explain any steps you or your vet need to take. As with any policy, always read it carefully when selecting which coverage you want and consider (sorry...) worst case scenarios. And... check it periodically to see if you need to adjust it. I purchased the policies as soon as I brought my pet companions into my home. In my case they were kittens and a puppy. :D I absolutely give the people a 10. By the way, the people on the phone were terrific about follow through. The company was slow on processing a couple of claims -- but they were also quick to explain what additional information my vet needed to submit once I contacted them about the delay. So the delay is the reason I will give them a slightly lower rating.

Awesome people to deal with

lady had soft tissue injury to Rt. paw. I was not sure if it was roken because shee ws unable to put any weight on paw and was in a great deal of pain. I did take her to Emergency clinic as it was a weekend for evaluation.Since it was the first time I was using the insurance I did call to make sure I had everything I needed to submit claim. Eveyone I spoke to was so helpful, kind and concerned. The claim was handled quickly and I did recieve emails with updates. I origionally just purchased accident and injury and now plan to upgrade my policy. Very pleased with the company. Truthfully they are much easier to deal with than insurance for humans, they show compassion!

Did not deliver what they advertised

I received this company's name and information as part of adopting from the Humane Society. I immediately went home and activated the service that same day. 4 days later, I took the two girls to my regular Vet and had them examined. It turned out that they had fleas, a cold, and ear mites; all of which they received medications for. When I called PetPartners to see how to file my first claim I was told the following:1) I can't file because the policy didn't "actually" become active until 5 days after I activated it (It was only 4 days AND this 5 day waiting period was not mentioned when I activated the coverage.) 2) They don't cover fleas or mites, even though they DO consider them parasites and admit they can endanger the animal's life 3) They "might" cover the cold and I was certainly free to file the claim though the gentleman doubted they would reimburse me for that, UNLESS I was willing to move up to the next level of service. So, all in all, NOT the kind of service I had expected coming from an endorsement from the Humane Society. I cancelled the service that day(almost a week ago) and I'm STILL waiting for my refund.
