AKC | Pet Insurance Review

My claims have been handle with quick response .

We have two English Bulldogs covered by AKC Pet Partners. This insurance is less than worthless. Veterinary completed claim forms are submitted and they ask for more records making the vet jump,through hoops. We call and are promised return calls that are never made. Unfortunately 0 is not a rating option. 1 year old female EB, severe skin allergies, hospitalized 7 days, denied claim because she was treated once for yeast in her skin folds. 10 month male EB luxating patella, claim denied, 2 days short of 180 day period, genetic problem, in spite of being aggravated by injury, claim denied. In my opinion this company should have their license revoked! Both claims were denied after SEVERAL weeks of being told "the check's in the mail".

When Violet became ill and dehydrated she needed immediate diagnostics and treatment. Her insurance covered everything except fees and taxes. The claims process was easy and I received a check for the covered amount in just three weeks. Thanks AKC Pet Insurance!

Had some questions about coverage, answered right away in the most pleasant, helpful manner. Could not be more pleased!

I Have a 6 month old Britany Spaniel who contracted parvo at 3 months of age. He was not old enough to have all his immunizations when he contracted the virus. He was up to date on his vaccinations. I submitted a claim, and AKC Pet Insurance denied my claim. The reason is "the illness was excluded fro the policy.' Clearly this is fraud on their part. I submitted all medical records. Just a complete horrible insurance company. I would NEVER recommend this pet insurance company. I cancelled my policy after they denied my claim. Poor reason to deny the claim. Shame on AKC Pet Insurance!
