CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!

I got AKC free trial insurance when I registered my pup. I renewed it after the first free month, and within a week I made a claim...my dog ate part of a toy and had to have it surgically removed. Now, I thought surely since I had ONLY made ONE payment, I figured the insurance company would be hesitant to pay the claim. I am HAPPY to say they paid over 3/4 of the amount and they paid it QUICKLY and with no hemming or hawing! THEY HAVE ME FOR LIFE!

The best place to be for pet insurance.

My German Shepherd has suffered with seizures since late 2014, we are finally getting closer to the best results by combining two medications. The trick is to get the levels correct. AKC Pet Partners has been there for us every time we sent a claim.

Fast claim turn around and great coverage

It is easy to tell ourselves during tight economical times that we cannot afford the monthly pet insurance premium. But when you need it, as our Australian Shepherd with cataracts does right now, you will be glad you found a way to do it. Just as for ourselves, pets' - especially aging pets' medical needs must be addressed. We say we love our animals as family. We must provide for them the best we can, and extending quality of life is the way we can do it. Knowing my our dogs are covered by AKC insurance is peace of mind for us.

Monthly Cost

$5 – $90 depending on coverage options chosen.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 20% after your annual deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Per incident limit of $1,500 – $8,000 and annual limits of $3,000 – $16,000 depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

Choose from $100 – $1,000 annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll with no upper age limit. Coverage options available for senior pets.

Waiting Period

Coverage goes into effect one day after enrollment. There is a 5-day wait period for accident claims and 14-day wait period for illness claims. AKC Pet Insurance provides 30 days of accident and illness insurance coverage included with AKC registration for newly registered puppies.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Customizable plans allow you to add-on coverage for inherited and congenital conditions, exam fees and wellness care. Cancer coverage included in base accident and illness plan.
