How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Clover Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Experience

Ask whether the clinic has experience treating your specific type of pet, since care can vary between dogs, cats, and pocket pets.

Emergency Care Procedures

It’s helpful to understand how the clinic handles after-hours emergencies, including whether they provide emergency services or refer to nearby emergency hospitals.

Communication Preferences

Ask how the clinic communicates with pet parents, including updates, test results, and follow up questions.

Breed Specific Health Considerations

Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.

Diamond and I are very, very happy with the service. Even though the office is a little distant from where we live it was well worth it. The staff is so friendly and the Veterinary office is very nice and clean!! The Veterinary doctor was so kind and gentle with Diamond and though Diamond was there for one issue she totally took care of another that’s been going on for sometime now!! Thank you guys for the fantastic support and service for my little guy and we look forward to seeing you all soon!! ☺️

No matter how much grief my 70# pit/shepherd mix gives these amazing people, they keep welcoming him back with treats and love. Genuinely incredible humans here, from the desk staff to the techs to the docs, giving true weight to the "care" part of "veterinary care." I can't recommend them enough. They're amazing.

Been bringing my kitty here since before the rebranding to Clover and I am loving the new decor. But still same great service as always. We come in every year for vaccinations and prescription cat food to keep my special needs kitty healthy! I love being able to make appointments via text. Prices are very reasonable and I was in and out in 30 minutes!!
