Pointe 183 Animal Hospital & Urgent Care

When our favorite vet left, we started looking for a new clinic, and that’s how we discovered this gem. Honestly, we were first drawn in because it’s a shiny new building with modern facilities, reasonable costs (wellness exams are free!), and even discounts for people like military, first responders, seniors, and teachers. The only thing that made us hesitate was the 30-minute drive from home. But after our first visit, we knew we’d stick with them. You can just feel that everyone here genuinely loves animals. The clean, modern interior is nice, but it’s the kind and caring staff that really won us over. Sure, we’d prefer a clinic within about 10 minutes, maybe 15 tops, but for this level of care? We’ll happily make the 30-minute drive.

Found this place as my dog needed to have a puncture wound looked at. I was expecting the usual urgent care, but was pleasantly surprised. I was met with smiling faces at the front desk, a very compassionate vet tech named Kaylee that took very good care of my Mikasa, and an incredibly kind, understanding, and exceptional Doctor (Doctor Anderson). We even got to meet some more of the techs and reception staff and everyone truly awesome. So awesome in fact, I brought our other dog involved in the scuffle, Hinata, later in the day to be seen to verify she was well. Anyone that knows us, knows my family and I are very serious when it comes to our dogs. All rescues, and basically our furkids. I don't sing praises unless praises are due, which they are here. 10-out-of-10 recommend and we are so grateful that y'all are 20 mins out from us, in case we should need you for urgent care. Looking forward to a long relationship as your clients. I missed the food (twice) lol, but also gained a lovely urgent care vet, so I'd say I'm happy to take that end of the bargain. :)

Great service at reasonable price Dr. Karie Anderson was wonderful! She took such a good and dedicated care of my fur child. She explained what to expect, provided detailed steps of treatment and called me the next day to make sure my pup was doing ok after the visit. The entire staff was welcoming, thank you Sara for the treats! And another awesome fact, the bill was very reasonable. Thank you for this very convenient location!

I highly recommend Pointe 183 Animal Hospital for high-quality veterinary care at a very affordable, reasonable price, which is an exceptional value. Doctor Anderson and her team are quite knowledgeable. friendly, compassionate, dedicated, diligent, helpful and committed to providing great service with a personal touch for their clients. We thank the team at Pointe 183 Animal Hospital for a great experience!! This includes for free wellness exams and affordable prices for vaccines and their other services, in which prices are currently listed under the Client Resource section of their web site. In addition, there is a 10% discount for seniors, first responders, military, veterans and teachers as well as other Specials. Special thanks to Lydia for her excellent follow-up and for going out of her way to get the Lyme Vaccination for my two dogs, Molly and Zachary, who live in both Texas and Connecticut, where Lyme Disease is prevalent. This was quite helpful and allowed me to have all the veterinary care for my two dogs in one place. The team at the Front Desk are also quick to follow-through on requests. In addition, the brand-new facility is quite inviting and an enjoyable place to go to for me and my pets.

The whole staff and Dr Chapa were the best! Kind, caring, very knowledgeable. Fantastic pricing! I had to have a surgical procedure and they were 400% less than anybody else ! They really stepped up for me and I absolutely have found a new vet for my 2-year-old Border Collie. Brand new office super clean, just beautiful. If I could I would give them six stars!
