I switched to Washington Heights from another vet when my dog was 13 years old. I needed a vet that understood my goal of keeping him comfortable without ordering endless tests and procedures. The initial assessment was done by Dr. Wilkenson. She came up with a great plan, and I credit her with adding two more quality years to his life. When she left, Dr. Tacum treated Blue. She also did an excellent job and was good at communicating with me. This is a large clinic, but they still manage to personalize the care. I'm grateful for the services that were provided.

Found this clinic from ChatGPT and I’m SO thankful! The whole process from start to finish was easy and a great experience. Bo loved his visit today and loved the entire staff. They were so sweet to him and took excellent care of him. Bo has a new favorite tech and doctor! Very appreciate of Jo and Dr. Pilgram. You can tell that they love what they do. They answered all of our questions, were thorough with his care, exam and treatment plan and upfront on pricing. Bo can’t wait to go back and see them! Thanks so much for taking care of my fur baby!

Everyone we worked with from setting up the first appointment to actually meeting during our visit was very friendly and loved animals. It was really heartwarming. My dogs are being internationally exported, so the attention to detail and willingness to work with my exporter to meet the requirements was impressive and left me with peace of mind. Every vet on staff being USDA certified is a tremendous plus as well when considering where to take pets that will be exported. That certification is required for the export documentation. The facility was well designed, clean, and a bit whimsical, which was fun while waiting. The space also was set up so while waiting dogs would be separate and not necessarily looking at each other as all the seating is along one side, which means aggressive dogs won’t be looking other pups in the eyes and possibly getting worked up. The exam rooms were clean and well equipped with modern adjustable tables and scales which works really well for older pets or larger ones that are difficult to lift. We were also able to fill out prescription as my puppy had moved into the next weight class, which was great as well. One stop shopping and set up for the next 6-months of heart worm and flea/tick treatments. Overall a fantastic place to bring your pets!

Dr. Tracy McAdoo is such a fantastic doctor. She listens to your concerns and doesn’t end the visit until she’s sure they’ve been addressed. She gives great recommendations and explains everything very well. We appreciate it! Everyone at Washington Heights Vet is kind, caring, friendly, and helpful. We recommend them strongly to our friends and family!

Greatest Vet Practice in. Houston. They take care of our Grover like he is their very own. He is a 110 lb Golden who loves to go visit Washington Heights Clinic and, especially, their staff and Vets. I wouldn't want them to change anything.
