How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I do not normally leave reviews, but in this case I think it is worth it. Dr Malinowski and his team truly do care about the animals, and it is abundantly clear in everything they do. Even months after taking my dog to the clinic for stomach issues, Dr Ken still remembered and brought it up during our future visits to ensure that she was well and fully recovered. When we brought in our new dog he made sure that that both dogs were comfortable around him and spent time getting to know them. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who needs a vet to go to Tanner Lakes.

We have taken our dogs to Dr. Ken for over 20 years! We live in a nearby neighborhood and have had nine dogs during that time and they are all really great in that office! They are friendly and courteous and even when they’re not there they can help you get what you need for your dogs. They even let my oldest son volunteer there for a period of time to get some experience. Ken and the rest of the staff are really great people and have had clients for years and years. I can’t say enough good things about them!

Just wanted to share our experience. We recently switched vets to Dr. Ken and team and we could not be happier with their care, warmth and friendliness. They really care for the animals and are conscious of the cost of being animal owners. They are reasonably priced and are easy to schedule with and flexible with their customers. Could not recommend them enough. Another plus for us is that they are not part of a vet chain so they are able to offer the neighborhood feel. Truly great team.

The vet is very professional and knowledgeable, definitely recommend for a general evaluation or an specific issue. Also if you’re traveling abroad, they can help with all your traveling with pets needs.

I took my dog there a couple of times due to excessive scratching. The Doctor was friendly and patient with my dog. He gave some treatment to remedy the issue and my dog has been scratching a lot less and feels better!
