⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The absolute best veterinary care we’ve ever experienced! We want to give a huge and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ozak and the entire team at North Durham Animal Hospital for taking such wonderful care of our pets over the past few years. Every visit has been met with kindness, professionalism, patience, and genuine compassion. Today was our last visit for our annual checkup as Heights residents, and it was honestly bittersweet. We are so grateful for all the care, attention, and love Dr. Ozak and his staff have given us throughout the years. They have always made us feel heard, comfortable, and confident that our pets were in the very best hands. Dr. Ozak is truly an exceptional veterinarian — knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and clearly someone who genuinely cares about the animals he treats and the families who love them. His staff has been just as amazing, and we could not have asked for a better veterinary team. We are so sad to say goodbye and will genuinely miss everyone at North Durham Animal Hospital. ❤️ Thank you for everything you have done for us and our fur babies over the years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dr Deville and the compassionate young tech who assisted on July 13, when I went in for a quality of life assessment for my beloved dog Pepita. At 15 (or 16, I adopted her 12 years ago, so I’m not 100% sure of her age) she has been living with a heart condition for the last 3 years of her life. When I visited about 6 weeks ago, another kind vet at this practice ran tests and prescribed more meds, but I always knew her condition would deteriorate with time and age, as would her quality of life. So it was time to have that talk, and Dr Deville and the vet tech were both so empathetic throughout the conversation about her quality of life and then euthanasia. I know my grief process will evolve, but I’m certain I have been taking Pepita to the right place. She looked so beautiful, cozy, and loved when she passed. Thank you for this important work that you do helping owners and families have these tough conversations and decisions about their pet family members. RIP my sweet Pepita, you were such an excellent companion for 12 years of my life and I’ll love you forever 🌈💗🦴 Photo: Pepita napping in the sun a few months ago.

Brought in my sick kitten and everyone from the receptionist to the vet tech was outstanding. Great attitudes, up front about pricing, it felt fair and reasonable. My kitty is doing better thanks to their knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.

We had a great first visit to see Dr. Ozak! Seeking to establish care for my new pup I didn’t know who to go to but received several recommendations for North Durham Animal Hospital. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and I know my baby is in good hands.
