Dr. Karen Richardson was absolutely fantastic!!! Marley is usually shaking like a leaf but Dr. Richardson and the wonderful vet technicians were amazing. Honestly, one of the smoothest visits Marley Swan has ever had. As a rescue, Marley is very much a Mama’s girl and very tentative around anyone new. Dr. Richardson was so sweet with my nervous little baby as were the vet techs!!! I’m a huge fan!!! Just have to get Daddy on board to feed her less!!!! Thank you Dr. Richardson!!! I’m so thankful to have the option for the yearly injection for heartworm and flea and tick protection!!! I will request you for each visit.

I’ve been coming here for years. Before Dr. Jacob retired. I was a little nervous about this new ownership, but I have to say I’m highly impressed. The entire team is awesome. The renovations to the building is very nice. Pricing is one of the most affordable vets in town. They treat my pets with love and care. I recommend to all my friends with pets!

I have been going to this vet for about two years now, and since I have multiple pets, I’ve had quite a bit of experience with their care and services. Recently, I adopted a new cat, and today was another great experience. The staff were very accommodating, patient, and helpful throughout the entire visit. They were able to quickly process my new cat’s information, update her files, and make sure all of her vaccines and records were current. For anyone planning a walk-in visit, keep in mind there is a $15 walk-in fee. However, if you are a new client, I believe they may offer a discount. The team was very attentive regarding my cat’s medical issue and gave clear recommendations on what steps to take moving forward. The veterinarian was especially communicative, reassuring, and mentioned he would stay in contact regarding my cat’s visit and follow-up care. I truly appreciated the time, patience, and compassion they showed while helping me care for my rescued cat. I highly recommend this location!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough good things about Neighborhood Veterinary Centers - South Post Oak and the care they have always provided for my senior girl, Gemma. Dr. Patrick Choyce, Mikayla and the rest of the staff are wonderful people. Like many dogs, Gemma can be nervous and fearful at the vet, but the staff immediately recognized that she wasn’t being difficult - she was simply scared. Instead of reacting with fear or frustration, they treated her with patience, kindness, and understanding. They took the time to earn her trust and made her feel as comfortable as possible throughout her visit. What stood out most was that they weren’t afraid of her. They looked beyond her size and her anxiety and saw the sweet dog that I know and love. That level of compassion means everything to a pet parent. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. They listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and treated Gemma as if she were their own. If you’re looking for a veterinary clinic that combines excellent medical care with compassion and understanding, I highly recommend Neighborhood Veterinary Centers - South Post Oak.
