I had such a wonderful experience at Neartown Animal Clinic and genuinely cannot say enough good things about the team. I brought my cat, Milo, in for a wellness visit and was so impressed with how patient, gentle, and thorough everyone was with him. Milo can definitely be a little squirmy when he’s uncomfortable, but the staff handled him so calmly and kindly throughout his exam, vaccines, testing, and ear treatment. They gave him plenty of treats, took their time with him, and made the entire visit feel as low-stress as possible. He was surprisingly relaxed for almost the entire appointment, which says a lot about how well they handled him. Our vet tech, Destine, was incredibly sweet and patient with him and gave him time to get acclimated before doing anything. Dr. Mark Eslick was also fantastic - funny, personable, and very thorough. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made the entire process feel much less overwhelming. I also really appreciated how thorough they were in addressing everything that came up during the visit and explaining the next steps for his care. I left feeling like Milo was genuinely cared for rather than rushed through an appointment. A few unexpected diagnoses were found during the exam, but everything was clearly explained and they immediately put together an action plan to get him back to feeling his best. The services were also very reasonably priced considering how much they did during the visit and the medications we went home with. It can be hard to find a veterinary clinic where you feel completely comfortable trusting people with your pet, and I’m so happy I found this one. I would absolutely recommend Neartown Animal Clinic to anyone looking for a kind, patient, thorough, and attentive veterinary team. Milo and I will definitely be back! 🐾🤍

I’ve been with Neartown Animal Clinic for 8 years now, for both my pups and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better place. The entire team is incredibly attentive, caring and professional. Every time we come in, I feel completely confident that my dogs are getting the best care possible. The doctors and staff are fully at your disposal and so caring with my dogs and I trust the doctors completely. From every annual check up, vaccine tech appointment, and emergency or even simple concerns I or my pups have. I LOVE Neartown Animal Clinic. We have used this vet for 14+ years and four dogs. The doctors (esp. Krista Hunt and Brandi Miller) are experts with animals and are very practical in their treatments. The technicians are caring and treat each animal as their own. The front office is so efficient and friendly. We have used them for everything from bathing or boarding to major surgery and I will continue to use them for as long as we have pets. They are amazing!!

I went to Neartown in need of a second opinion for my pup who I was being told needed $600+ x-rays for an obstruction. Neartown recognized the symptoms as something entirely different and after a week of antibiotics, she’s doing much better! Now, several weeks and a follow up visit later, their treatment has helped heal her gut and made her a happy dog, once again. Thank you Neartown for taking such good care of my fur baby!
