Dr. Randy Wilshire is an amazing vetenarian as well as an amazing person. My family has been going to Dr. Wilshire / Lakeside Animal Clinic for atleast 20 years, probably longer. He has a great bedside manner and truly cares for the pets. His staff is great! They are very friendly and welcoming. They treat you like family, Dr. Wilshire especially does. I highly recommend him.

Lakeside Animal Clinic consistently provides exceptional patient care. They are located quite a distance from our house but we will travel to their clinic to have their staff treat our dogs because of how much we value their staff and doctors. The staff always provides us with options to proceed with treatment of my animals. They explain costs related to each procedure and never do anything without our prior authorization. My husband and I have two german shepherd husky mix large breed dogs who are prone to allergies and skin issues. We have always brought them in and the staff has taken care of them, regardless of how busy they may be. We trust their expertise and knowledge on how best to treat our pets. Additionally, each time we bring our girls in, they send us home with detailed instructions on how to care for them away from the clinic. Also, they often provide us with best practices to prevent any future unexpected visits. Which doesn't seem to be good for business IMO but at the end of the day they seem to care more about the animals than their books. Our experience while taking our girls to their clinic has always resulted in them being better off thanks to the care they receive from the veterinary staff. My girls are actually excited to see them when they go instead of being afraid of the doctor, which enough for us. I recommend them to all of my networks and emphasize that they are worth it.

I did my research on Lakeside Animal Clinic before trusting anyone with my precious baby, Miss Fallon. After losing my last dog due to a vet hospital I once trusted, I’m extremely cautious about who handles her care. Lakeside changed that for me. Before bringing Fallon in, I spoke with their team three different times, and every interaction was professional, patient, and reassuring. I scheduled an appointment with the clinic’s owner, Dr. Whiltshire, because I knew how he handled that visit would tell me everything I needed to know. He exceeded every expectation. From the receptionists to the doctor, the entire team earned an A+ from me. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care are exactly what I’ve been searching for. Lakeside Animal Clinic is now the clinic I trust with Miss Fallon’s health. Thank you for giving us outstanding service — I truly hope it never changes. And no, no one asked me to write this review. I’m writing it because honest reviews help people make decisions. If anything ever changes, I’ll speak on that too.

I had a great experience at Lakeside Animal Clinic. Dr. Robertson and the technician, Jazmine, were both so kind, patient and helpful throughout the entire visit. You can truly see how much they care about both their patients and their owners. They were incredibly gentle and sweet with my pet, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Their compassion and professionalism really stood out and I’m so grateful for the care they provided. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team that genuinely cares!

Took my dog in for his first visit to this clinic and had a great experience. My dog has a lot of anxiety when it comes to the vet and strangers, but the staff really tried hard to get him to relax and trust them while they did an exam and took him back for some tests. Everyone I interacted with seemed really nice. I've been to a few different vet clinics over the years and this has been by far one of the best experiences! Would definitely recommend coming to Lakeside!
