How to Save on Veterinary Costs at HCPH VETERINARY PUBLIC HEALTH

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This shelter tries their best but is in serious need of training staff properly. I rescued a dog from euthanasia and fostering her. For 2 months as a pro trainer I rehabilitate the dog. Ready for adoption and.now feel i.am left on my own to promote her. THIS HAS NEVER BEEN MY FOSTER EXPERIENCES ANY WHERE ELSE. ZERO COMMUNICATION OR GUIDANCE. Whole program needs to be revamped. One person doesn't know what protocol is and passes you around....still dont get issues solved. Zero.suppprt for Fosters. DO BETTER HARRIS PETS

I have been to this location twice for two different situations. Their sign says that they are a veterinarian clinic . And when I went to the clinic , They are not a veterinarian clinic . I would suggest that they define what they are so people dont get mislead.

This clinic has rude staff and don't answer their phones. Asked for a call back and I even emailed them with my questions and they just ignore it. The front desk staff are not good, they need to get some friendlier staff that are kind and show respect to animals. The vet is fine, but overall the service is declining. They have a 4.5 under this name but this establishment is also called county pets, which has a 4.0 rating, who knows for how long.

Facilities were very clean and there's a play area for the pups so they can stretch their legs and play. Staff are very nice and informative and they make the adoption process super easy
